RCAA’s first major Art in Public Places project began in 2004 with the presentation of Discovery, an 18-inch bronze statue, depicting the founding fathers of Rockwall. This #1 of a Limited Edition of 25 was presented to the City of Rockwall as part of the sesquicentennial celebration. The Alliance is offering the remaining Limited Editions for sale, which will help in raising funds for commissioning the life-size version of the bronze to be displayed in the city for public enjoyment.

The annual RCAA Celebrity Art Auction brings local celebrities and professional artists together to produce and provide quality pieces of artwork in a variety of mediums for this annual fundraiser. The artwork is to be auctioned to the highest bidder and provides funding for art scholarships, grants to art related organizations in the community and art program funding in local schools.
